About the Role:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Operations Manager and CEO with the smooth running of the recreation program and contributing to our aged care facility’s ongoing accreditation

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers, offering direction, support, and feedback to ensure high standards of service and resident care

  • Building strong relationships with residents, staff, and external professionals to ensure a collaborative and compassionate environment

  • Maintaining accurate documentation in line with aged care standards and legislation

  • Contributing to cost-effective program delivery within budget

  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation, maintaining a warm, professional presence as a key point of contact for families, visitors, and volunteers

  • Ensuring resident dignity, privacy, and wellbeing are at the center of everything you do

  • Being adaptable and solution-focused, with a team-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, or relevant experience in a similar role

  • Strong communication and leadership skills – confident in guiding volunteers and engaging with residents

  • Excellent English – written and verbal

  • A values-driven approach with a clear commitment to person-centered care and dignity in ageing
